Just wanted to let you know that this should be fixed. Care to try it out and let me know how it works for you?

We've supported drag and drop for almost 4 months! Try it out, but be sure to use Chrome or Firefox.
Actually, in the ToS, it states "Website elements such as gradients and share icons." as something that's not allowed. Sorry, but you may have to find your own commercial CDN for something like that. If I see it, then your site may be blocked from hotlinking.
Uppercase letters are completely valid in URLs. In fact, most websites have case-sensitive URLs - including Imgur.
Allowing uppercase letters means that there are many many more filename permutations which means we won't have to extend the length of our filenames for a long time.
There are no plans to make the URLs lowercase. This is not a problem with Imgur, it's a problem with sites that ignore uppercase filenames.

I'm really sorry about that. The image management page has had some changes to include more functionality. It turns out that some things were made more difficult in the process with the loss of those icons, but I've just added them back in. Hopefully this will solve the problem and make things easier again.
I've not heard of the images not appearing before. Are you sure you're signed in? What browser and operating system are you using?

I was never able to fully reproduce the error, but I've made a few changes that I think will work. Is it still broken for you?
There are no plans yet, but if this gets upvoted enough then maybe there will be :)
Yep, that will work. However, you could also use cURL and grab only the headers. This would be much faster because you wouldn't have to wait for PHP to grab the whole file.
I'm not sure what you mean? It sounds like your describing the "Albums" link up at the top: http://i.imgur.com/f7dRU.png
