JPG Comressor not working?

PNG files are never optimized by Imgur during uploads. Today, even the JPEGs are being uploaded in full size even though I have not changed the setting.

lol. no issues. imgur compresses jpg images before uploading. so if i am uploading a 5MB image for example, it does not upload the original one but compresses it using the flash component and then uploads it. result is a much faster upload. this thing was not working for a couple of hours. seems to be doing that again. 


this is not done with png images though. i was wondering why!
