Cannot view uploaded images without visiting front page first
This effectively renders the "remember me" checkbox mostly worthless,
since I have to either re-enter my login info or navigate away from the
page, then come back, in order to do anything.
Solution
If that's a browser setting, I don't know how to enable/disable it.
If it's an extension, I don't have it installed.
The actual message is "banjo2E's images are not publicly available". However, I'm supposed to be logged in so this shouldn't be an issue.
I am also a green hand on imaging problems. But I think you can try to load images using some professional imaging SDKs and create an image viewer using the tools as well. Is this the problem of incompatible? I am not so sure about it. But I hope you success. Good luck.
Best regards,
Arron
First off, this thread was pretty much dead, bumping it didn't really do anything. But since you've reminded me that I posted this, I'll restate the issue.
This isn't a compatibility or viewing problem. This is a login problem. Whenever I go directly to my gallery instead of the front page, the site thinks I'm not logged in even though I am, and it's not fixed until I go to the front page.
That being said, this bug is still present over a year later, and the fact that it's still present coupled with the completely useful and not at all irrelevant staff response regarding the issue has reminded me why I never use any of imgur's features beyond the most basic, and likely never will.
