Candy Crush, gone wild

SeriouslySweatpants il y a 11 ans 0

Hello there. Love you guys. That said, seems as though the Candy Crush ads are auto launching to the app store. I was on my iPad and anytime a link from reddit clicks to an Imgur page with a Candy Crush ad, it auto launches the app store to download and start playing. It's happened about 20 times tonight. Screenshots available. :)

how to maintain same direct link when editing a previously uploaded image

Gabriele Ferrarotti il y a 12 ans 0

Hi, I have an account on imgur, I want to edit an existing image but I want it to preserve the same direct link. What happens instead when I save my changes to the already uploaded image is that the link is modified i.e. from http://i.imgur.com/1iLxl.jpg to http://i.imgur.com/1iLxl.jpg?1. Normally when I edit an image I want it to maintain the same direct link. Is there a way to do that? thanks

The (source) link on images viewed through /gallery/ don't work properly

walropodes il y a 13 ans mis à jour par Alan Schaaf (Founder) il y a 13 ans 0

Example image:

http://imgur.com/gallery/L2wnn

If you click (source), it tries to bring you to: http://www.reddit.com1/ but if you remove gallery/ from the URL so you're here it brings you to the proper URL which is this:

http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/l6pju/i_always_imagined_mother_earth_as_a_bit_more/

I imagine that this might be a template error or something

You know what's stupid?

"Imgurian family! I'm only 58 points from being liked, can I get some love? <3"
This is stupid. This is an image hosting website with funny pictures and funny comments. Please keep this from being a popularity contest or a love fest.

Issues with album sort order and caption editing.

emple il y a 14 ans mis à jour par Alan Schaaf (Founder) il y a 12 ans 2
1. Adding new images to an album breaks the existing image order (it didn't used to do this). 2. When I go to edit captions in an album, it's only displaying the first 50 images in the album. I need to edit a caption that's not in the first 50. (I think I used to be able to do this, too?)

I'm aware of the album sorting issue, and will get that fixed ASAP.

Also, thanks for letting me know about the captions thing. I'll look into that soon too.

EDIT: Just wanted to let you know that this should be fixed. Care to try it out and let me know how it works for you?

Why do i have to go to reddit to see comments now?

James Speyrer il y a 14 ans mis à jour par agenbolakaki il y a 10 ans 2

I used to see comments below the images and now it says "View Comments on Reddit".  I much preferred not having to navigate away to read/write comments.

I think i may have just figured it out.  Log in to reddit as well.

It sounds like you're confusing the gallery section (http://imgur.com/gallery) with random images from Reddit. Only the gallery has comments.

Spelling: Accessable vs. Accessible

Under the heading "default album privacy", the word 'accessable' should be spelled 'accessible'.

Recognize Android Tablets

Kevin M Combes il y a 13 ans mis à jour par Alan Schaaf (Founder) il y a 13 ans 0
At present, imgur directs Android (Honeycomb) tablets to the mobile site which makes the image very small. They should be directed to the regular site as is done with iPad. Tablets have simply "android" in the user agent whereas phones are "Android mobile".

A new mobile version will be coming soon that addresses this.
