Album organization using tags
You would have a dictionary with all your used tags which you could use again (this is to eliminate spelling tags incorrectly and inadvertently creating two separate similar tags AND to see what tags are available).
You could then add tags to the dictionary which you could apply to images in the album. Preferably you would be able to add multiple tags to a single image.
The whole point of this is to be able to quickly find what you are looking for in a big album searching on these tags. Personally I have quite a large album (1500 images) and it's getting a bit cumbersome to manage. I would love for this feature to be implemented since it would save me (and I imagine at least a few others) a lot of time.

Add subsections to the "user submitted" filter
Since this new feature was put in, the community as a whole seems to be exploding in rage. Of course keep the popularity/virality section as it has been. but simple sections like cute animals, animated gifs, facebook reposts, OC uploads, sad comics, funny comics, political bs, etc. would help out by allowing users interested in that content to be exposed to it, limiting the downvotes all around and encouraging an imgurian userbase that doesn't hate each other to form.

Private tagging option
Any chance to get a way to add tags to uploaded images to better organize/filter them?

images I did not uploaded come up on my gallery
there are images on my gallery which I did not upload. it happened twice already. first time a naked woman, uploaded twice. now SIX pictures of a fox (the same picture, six times)

Why can I not use small thumbnails from a standard account?

what the heck is going on?
