"Back to top" button

Don't know if anyone else would like this, but I think having one of those nifty "back to top" buttons like on Tumblr could be quite handy after reading a lot of comments, or viewing long galleries.

Comment search

It seems that the search feature searches for image titles only.  It'd be nice if there was an option to include search for text in comments.  Example:  Someone made a funny comment several weeks ago and I didn't comment or like the image so I can't refer back to it via my profile.  I'd like to search for the comment, and the comment along with the picture would show up.  Brilliant idea and not too hard to incorporate.  I should work for Imgur... :)

I am having difficulty seeing images from imgur. I can access (and ping) imgur.com, but anything from i.imgur.com (through Chrome, I.E., or Firefox, and even including pinging) fails. I see a common issue for this is DNS settings, but I have changed mine to Google's Open DNS and still have issue. It does not occur on other devices on the same network, and it has occured on my computer on two separate networks. What other causes to this issue can there be?

but I do not participate in other social webworkings such as Facebook or blogs. I know, crazy right?  Is there any chance of having a section that posts recent photos in order and not only popular shared ones? Id like to use this site solely but have the possibility of photos be seen, commented and shared.

Block user button PLEASE. So they cant reply or see any of your comments/images.

I would really like a way to block someone from being able to reply and/or see any of my comments and images. I have this really weird dude replying to all my stuff and I'd like to make it stop.

 Recently, comments have been immediately downvoted on any and all pictures being uploaded to imgur right when they are uploaded. I and others have voiced the opinion that the option to downvote other comments be taken away for the first 30 minutes, give or take, that any image is on imgur, after which the right is given back. This will easily solve the problem, and a spam report option can be added to offset spam if need be.

I just wanted to let you know that some changes were released over the weekend that should take care of a lot of this. I'm marking this as completed, but will still be keeping a close eye on the voting system and will continue to make adjustments.

My comments for the past 3 days have either disappeared or no one else can read them. Everything is sitting at 1 point and I have been asking for replies to test but nothing, anyone know how to fix this?

just wondered if you have any plans to notify users when they are tagged in another caption. might be a cool feature instead of going back to each image to see if your tagged

If you report the user's comment it also reports the entire user. Please use that function which can be accessed by clicking the arrow on the right hand side while hovering over the comment. Thanks!

how to add title to photo

I cannot figure out how to add a title to an uploaded photo of mine. I just started! Am I stupid? -__-

After uploading an image there's a "Edit title / description" link in the top right.
