When you upload an image on Imgur, it gives you links to delete the image. That link is not accessible at a later stage. So store it if you want to delete it later on.

You can create an account on Imgur. This way you would get the ability to delete any of the recent uploads easily.

This is happening again. I mail images. They are uploaded fine. I can see them in my backend. But not getting email confirmations.

Surprisingly, Imgur has been awesomely reliable for me for the last couple of days. I have seen only one image upload failed during a batch upload. Otherwise it has been rock solid. This is very unlike usual experience where I see failure rate of 5% during batch uploads.

lol. no issues. imgur compresses jpg images before uploading. so if i am uploading a 5MB image for example, it does not upload the original one but compresses it using the flash component and then uploads it. result is a much faster upload. this thing was not working for a couple of hours. seems to be doing that again.

this is not done with png images though. i was wondering why!

Yeap. I have been asking for a failsafe upload method for a long time now. Flickr lets you 'retry' failed uploads once an upload job is completed. Imgur on the other hand removes the failed uploads after a couple of seconds. This forces me to keep an eye on the upload queue pretty much constantly during a batch job. Very annoying.

You might consider using ShareX or a similar app as an alternative right now.

imgur developers do not post these images. and i doubt they would care about editing incorrect image descriptions. this image was on reddit right? i bet the poster was informed about this mistake.

in the meantime, you might want to use google site search... it's not really what you want but can work in some cases.

API seems to be working now. Control-V uploads from homepage not. goes to 100% and stops there. I would try again tomorrow.

Has happened to me in the recent times. As of now, working fine.
I would also love it if Imgur uses a responsive design. It does support smartphone displays. But optimizing the user interface for multiple resolutions would be nice to have. I use Imgur at 2560x1600 resolution and there is tons of empty space on the left and right side and I still have to crawl because of the length of the page!
